Prof. Dr. Khaled Abbas Sayed

He received his Ph.D. in Transport Engineering and Operations from the University of Newcastle, England in 1991. He was a Fulbright visiting scholar at the University of Texas USA in 1995 and a Hubert Humphrey fellow at Cornell University USA in 2000/2001. Participated in more than 150 transport consultancy/research projects/studies with SMEC Australia, RTA Dubai, ENIT, UN, World Bank, European Union as well as a number of Egyptian, Saudi, and UK consultants. He has published 100 journal articles and conference papers and attended more than 50 conferences/seminars. He has given more than 40 lectures to professionals from Australia, UAE, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Former Soviet Union Countries. Dr. Khaled Abbas has been a consultant and academic for more than 30 years in the fields of transportation consultancy, research, education, and academia. Strategic planning, urban and transportation planning, transportation and traffic modeling, public transportation, traffic engineering, traffic safety, parking, road hierarchy, feasibility studies, traffic, and environmental impact assessment, logistics management, restructuring, privatization, performance evaluation, and sustainable Khaled Abbas, who works on development themes, works in countries such as Egypt, Australia, Saudi, Dubai, USA, and England. Dr. Abbas, Advances in the Transportation Studies University of Rome, Journal of Transportation Technologies – Scientific Research Publishing Inc. – He is a member of the editorial board of the USA.
